  Eucalyptus essential oil is harvested from the leaf of the eucalyptus plant and is found all over the world. Its benefits have been known for many years. It is a pale, yellow liquid that is used primarily as an antiseptic or fragrance. It has a range of other uses and is often beneficial for treating many common health ailments such as flu, cold symptoms, congestion, and as an anti-bacterial agent.  It can be found in many hygiene products, soaps and analgesic products.
For Respiratory issues:  
  Known to aid to treatment of many respiratory problems, including cold, cough, nasal congestion, asthma, and more. It may be mixed with other medicine due to it’s antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties as well as being a decongestant. Add a few drops to your humidifier during dry winter months to sooth irritated sinuses or lungs. Note: Pure essential oils may damage plastic conponents if used in too high of a concentration or to often.
As an Antiseptic:
  Germicideic properties make Eucalyptus a good antiseptic for various types of wounds. It can be applied directly to open wounds, bug bites or stings, burns, abrasions and sores. It also has topical analgesic qualities that help soothe the wound.
Pleasing Fragrance:
  Eucalyptus oil has an extremely strong, appealing scent. It can be added to perfumes and other products creating a pleasing aroma. This fragrance also has very soothing properties that help relax and reduce stress.
Eucalyptus Application
  There are a number of ways to effectively use this essential oil. It can also be blended with other oils to produce many other benefits.
  – Rub approximately 5 drops over your chest for respiratory issues, sinusitis, and sore throat
  – Massage into an injured area to alleviate any inflammation, pain, or swelling
  – Massage into the bottom of your feet for fever reduction
  – Apply to your skin to prevent or stop itching from bug bites or stings
  – Inhale the aroma to improve mood or relieve stress
  – Massage into your forehead, temples, and sinus area for pain relief
  – Mix a few drops into your bathwater for calming effects
  – Rub directly into your scalp for soothing and hair care
Note: The strong aroma and menthol content should be avoided during pregnancy. This oil should also NOT be taken orally as it can be toxic.
